Tips for Choosing Tubing of Good Quality
Gauge of Tubing Wall
The thickness of the wall of our airline tubing is 1mm, 25% thicker than the cheap tubing in the market. Our tubing can bear higher pressure than the cheap ones. It’s very important in case of high-pressure application, like in a deep water aquarium or CO2 system.
Color
The color of our tubing is semi-transparent pure white. This is a sign for the quality of raw material the tubing is made of. Good quality tubing lasts longer, won’t turn brittle. This color also makes our tubing blending in the aquarium environment better.
The cheap airline tubing in the market usually looks yellowish. They are usually made of low grade material. They won’t last long time and turn brittle and more yellowish quickly. The contamination in the low grade material could be hazardous to your fish and plants.
